Passion for food is part of who we are: seeking out the best food, purchasing and stocking it, finding the best way to bring it to our customers.
A passion that was born, at the end of World War II, when Gino Tovazzi started his new business, a food wholesale company, mostly selling cheese, cured meat, and butter.
A passion that has been passed down to the new generations, along with developments in the company structure.
A passion for food that is truly contagious: to co-workers, customers, and consumers.

Each one of us with a specific role, all equally important, because good work, carried out with joy, dedication and commitment always bears good fruit.

“Ingrosso Alimentari” (food wholesale) may sound old-fashioned, even outdated. But our job is alive and kicking.
We do not just sell food.
At Gino Tovazzi we search for the best products, we select the best producers, with whom we establish and maintain an ongoing and constructive dialogue.
We constantly work on the most suitable selection for our customers, working closely with our suppliers to develop the perfect format and the most effective communication with consumers.
We store our products with great care: always at controlled temperatures, constantly and closely monitored.
Our walk-in refrigerators provide an overall surface area of more than 1,500 square meters for the storage of cheese and cured meat.
Moreover, since food is photo- and thermo-sentitive, we store our entire selection in dedicated storage cells (with a total volume of more than 2,000 cubic meters) that maintain a constant temperature all year round. These cells are powered by a dedicated solar panel system.
We stock more than 1,500 different products, all catalogued and described both in Italian and in German (English is available upon request).
We offer our services principally to specialized retail and modern distribution channels.
We mainly operate in Northern Italy, Austria and Southern Germany.

Alimentari... our selection
Variety in food is just natural, because nature expresses itself in many ways: we call it biodiversity. We are all well aware of the importance of preserving such an immense heritage.
Food itself is a product of nature and human labour.
Drawing from nature’s incredible variety, we at Gino Tovazzi distribute but a very small portion. Our assortment has grown over time, nurtured by our passion for quality.
We are grateful to nature for its biodiversity, and to mankind too, for the skillful ways his hands create genuine, healthy and delicious products.
We have discovered many of them: cheese and cured meat, legumes and flour, pasta and rice, honey and preserves, oil and vinegar, sauces and gravy, preserved vegetables, bread substitutes and many other ambassadors of the variety of high-quality food on offer.
With a never-ending passion, we deliver them to our customers every day, ensuring they go straight to the dining table of the consumers who love good, healthy and delicious food.
